Brook Taverner Suits

Brook Taverner was born in 1912 on a boat to Calcutta. Frank Brook and Walter Taverner’s first business proposition, was the sale of buttons to tailors. Soon afterwards, they added garment linings, and cloth to their repertoire. The sale of cloth was the key to the ongoing success of the company, even as the country endured two world wars, Brook Taverner continued to grow, and were able to hold one of the largest ranges of stock supported fabrics of that time.

By 1967, many of the more traditional tailors’ shops were facing closure. A decision was taken to offer a cut, make, and trim (CMT) service, and in 5 years, there was a comprehensive range of ready to wear garments available to buy.

Brook Taverner are now based in Yorkshire, and are a widely respected name in classic men’s tailoring, synonymous with quality, service, and price.

In each garment you will find the levels of exceptional craftsmanship and detailing, and you will know that no corner has been cut to achieve the perfect finish to each and every garment.
